I’m so glad you are here.
I’m Amber J. Parker, and I am dedicated to helping you and your loved ones find support and healing in mental health struggles. I have been on both sides, as a caregiver of PTSD and mental health crisis, and as a person with her own PTSD seeking support and healing. In sharing my own story, my hope is it will be a blessing and help in your own story. You don’t have to walk the journey alone anymore.
As an author, speaker, mental health educator, and caregiver wellness coach, I blend my medical background as a PA and my lived experience to offer clinically relevant insight, evidence-based research, and compassionate, boots on the ground, perspective only possible from having lived it myself.
I would be honored to walk alongside you in your caregiving journey— whether through caregiver coaching (group or one-on-one personalized support), through my book “The Forgotten Caregiver of Mental Crisis”, or a presentation I give for a webinar, conference, or speaking engagement.
You are not alone in your caregiving journey.

As a family caregiver of multiple family members and medical diagnoses, I have learned how difficult it is to take care of yourself as the caregiver but also how vitally important it is to make your care a priority as well. As a result, I am passionate about supporting you in order for you to thrive in all you do. If you are a caregiver, you wear multiple hats and juggle many responsibilities. What you do for your loved one is a high and holy calling, an honor. It also asks much of you. Friend, I would be honored to support you in your caregiving journey. I have created a number of caregiver specific resources which you will find in my book at the end of Chapter 3. I am offering one of them to you here for free though. It is one that should be especially helpful and simple at the same time. If you are a caregiver, you will understand immediately what I mean as you read the quiz.
