Biography:

Amber J. Parker, PA-C, MPAS, is a Physician Assistant/Associate, mental health educator, family caregiver, and the Founder of The Caregiver Clinician, a caregiver-focused coaching and education company. Through her work, she equips caregivers, clinicians, and communities with practical, trauma-informed strategies and resources grounded in clinical insight and lived experience. She is the author of The Forgotten Caregiver of Mental Crisis and a national speaker on trauma neuroscience, suicide prevention, caregiver burden, and mental wellness, helping families and communities better support those facing PTSD and mental health crises.

The Forgotten Caregiver of Mental Crisis is a comprehensive and compassionate guide for the caregiver of PTSD and suicidal crisis as they fight for their loved one’s life and healing. It was published Nov. 25, 2025.
