In this Caregiver Wellness & Self-care Strategies Coaching Package, you will meet with The Caregiver Clinician for 5 sessions of 60 minutes in length over a 4 month time period with focused self-paced learning and growth between sessions. The purpose of this package is to boost the caregiver in prioritizing their own needs, gaining improved purpose and belonging, and implementing self-care strategies to help offset exhaustion, weariness, or burnout.
Caregiving for a loved one can affect our own wellbeing: physically, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. It can be difficult to find time to care for your own needs or your own health in the midst of devoting your time and energy to supporting and caring for your loved one.
I’ve been there. Through my own experiences, I can look back and see how my own identity became swallowed up by the caregiving I gave. Life often looked like there was no end in sight. If you choose to pursue a caregiver wellness package and your application aligns with my current practice pursuits, you will have the opportunity to begin coaching services.
Over four months time, you will work together with your coach on:
reclaiming your personal identity affected by caregiving
having improved purpose and belonging
prioritizing self-care and implementing self-care techniques
learning strategies to persevere when exhausted or caregiving intensifies
This coaching package includes a paperback copy of “The Forgotten Caregiver of Mental Crisis” and utilizes sections of the book throughout the coaching time to support the transformation and growth of the client. Entering into a coaching agreement communicates an agreement by the client to read the prescribed portions of the book and complete any growth assignments between sessions. Transformation and positive growth from the coaching is directly related to the client’s commitment and willingness to work between sessions on the coaching material and goals.
You don’t need to continue in your caregiving alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
